Students were tasked with creating a series of travel posters of real world or fictional locations of their choice. They should look to a wide variety of inspirations for the illustrative style of these posters, not simply replicating other posters.
These travel posters are based off locations from the video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Inspiration was taken from the official concept art for the game, as well as watercolor and oil paintings and illustrators with detailed linework. Each poster had a strong color scheme in order to create a contrasting pair of images; a warm desert sunset and a crisp summer night in a valley.
